For the last few years I’ve been writing and updating a travel book in the For Dummies series. As the market for books in this series is mostly families, authors are required to write with this demographic in mind. Travelling regularly with a young family myself makes it much easier to write for this audience as there are many aspects to family travel I wouldn’t have considered just a few years ago. Especially when it comes to packing and scheduling. Take a recent trip our family made to the south of France. Dianne and myself both wanted to spend time along the promenades of places like Cannes and St Tropez. But this type of activity isn’t much fun for kids, but we packed a couple of collapsible scooters, and they were off……..
