It was a busy 2017 research season for me, with manuscripts for four new editions coming due in September: Moon British Columbia, Moon Vancouver Island, Moon Canadian Rockies, and Moon Banff National Park. Living in the region allows me to spread my research out over multiple months, ensuring I travel and experience as many places as possible while concentrating on regions that generally see the most changes, in this case, Vancouver and Vancouver Island. I also did a road trip through Northern British Columbia and the Yukon. While the pace of change is slower than elsewhere in western Canada, the north is one of my favourite parts of Canada.
